Real Estate in Santa Monica and other Westside areas is still moving although it is hard to match up the large amount of buyers in the market with inventory so low. Even with the classic low inventory and apparent high demand, prices are not moving up and will not move up for some time unless the overall economy starts to improve in a discernible fashion. Buyers are still cautious. What we need is leadership from this administration now, not rhetoric and politics.
The recovery is starting but it will still take some time for things to become normal again. Can the market handle it?
